Moonshine Apple Pie
(recipe enhanced from Moonshine Heritage link)
1 gallon apple cider
1 gallon apple juice
3 cups brown sugar
8 cinnamon sticks
1 of Copper Run Moonshine
- In a large stock pot, combine the apple cider, apple juice, sugar, and cinnamon sticks.
- Bring it to a boil, then take it off the heat and allow it to cool.
- Add the liter of Copper Run Moonshine.
- Pour this into jars, put the lids on, and let it mellow out. You could drink it right away, but it does get better after a couple of weeks

My co-worker and an out-of-town guest visited the distillery last weekend. They took the ‘distillery tour’, enjoyed samples, and learned quite a bit about the distilling process.
They had a great time and said the products were delicious!
Just visited your distillery this weekend, I was impressed with the moonshine and other spirits I sampled and bought some. I think now the next thing for me is to join the barrel club..Jim in Strafford Mo
Jim,
Thanks for commenting…
Please contact us and join the barrel club. You will enjoy being able to age to your own taste!

We visited the distillery last week, 7 of us dropped in to see what Copper Run was all about. Thanks Bubba, who was kind enough to take a break from his work and educate the city folk on the art of distilling spirits and a Big thanks to Jim who served up the fruits of his labor and amazed our taste buds. I think we put a dent in the inventory.
Next time we come a knocking …it will be to join the barrel club.
Jon in Lake Saint Louis
We will love to have you in the barrel club. We look forward to your next knocking.
Loved the apple pie yesterday! Thanks for a great time 🙂
Thanks for having a great time.
Visited the distillery 2-20-12. Enjoyed the afternoon doing some taste testing. If you come up with any new Moonshine Recipies, send them my way.
Maybe Moonshine (Tequilla) Sunrise and Moonshine (Long Island) Iced Tea.
We have some recipes on our blog and plan to make random up dates, so check us out from time to time.
What is the barrel club? How does one join?
Please call Copper Run Distillery. 417-587-3456.
We will love to explain you everything.
My wife and I are going to be staying at the bear creak bed and breakfast over the Easter weekend. I am looking foreword to coming to the distillery and trying your product. I just came back from NC where I was able to get some REAL Popcorn Sutton and Junior Johnson moonshine.
Great. We look forward to seeing you. Keep in mind that on Sunday we have live music in the afternoon.
Loved your place! We came to visit 4/1/2012. Our favorite drink was the Vodka Apple Pie, Moonshine Bloody Mary and Moonshine Margarite.
You a wonderful place and great casual enviroment.
Thank you for sharing with us.
We are glad you enjoyed.
My wife and I really enjoyed spending time at your place, let us know how the Sour drinks go over. Also how the “special” shot go over today
Thanks to Bubba for the awesome tour. Brought a few bottles of moonshine back and shared some with my 93 year old grandfather and his buddy, who said “this is good stuff” and sipped it straight for a couple of hours. We are working on a batch of moonshine apple pie now and looking forward to sharing it at a hog roast in May.
Great news. Cheers to your grandfather! Let us know how the apple pie turns out in May.
One of the highlights of our Branson trip!
CRD,

Stopped in Sat, great place, great employees. Your products are top noch, can’t wait to drop in on a Sunday. I emailed a Kahlua recipe, normally use rum, but think the shine is perfect. I will be brewing some up next week, i use home roasted coffee and infuse it for only 10 days.
Thank you for the recipe. Home roasted coffee sounds wonderful.
